Hint 3 of 3
Compare the lists two houses at a time and find the pair that is exactly the same.
Show solution
Approach: list each house's blocks and find the matching pair
- For every house, count how many of each kind of block it uses.
- Now compare the houses: you are looking for two whose collections of blocks are exactly the same.
- House 1 and House 4 turn out to use the very same set of blocks, just placed differently.
- Answer: House 1 and 4.
